A Heart for Celebration
Hi, I’m Derrick “DJ” Niemann — founder of Let’s Explore Florida / Explore Celebration, a local resident, and proud neighbor. I’ve been coming to Celebration since 1999 when my parents first moved to North Village. In 2024, I made the move myself to help care for them, and ever since, I’ve felt a deeper connection to this special town than ever before.

I created Let’s Explore Florida / Explore Celebration because I believe in this community — its charm, its local businesses, and its people.
As a small business owner, I know how tough it can be to get noticed.

Living the Celebration Life
What makes me happiest? Walking around Lake Rianhard with family. Catching up with friends at Town Tavern. Hitting the pool on a warm afternoon. Or just soaking in the beauty of a Florida sunset. I love creating content from those moments and sharing them — not for clicks, but because I genuinely want others to experience the joy this town brings.
